Network Carriers Square Off: Who Will Own the Largest Piece of the Connected Devices Pie?

Connected devices are making headlines right now as even more products enter the marketplace and more people show greater interest in learning about the technology behind them.

The technology of course is M2M (machine-to-machine). And it’s no wonder all the major carriers are looking to capitalize on the momentum created by all the buzz. Each of these network providers is positioning itself like a grand chess master waiting to make its next big move and establish itself as the winner atop the M2M mountain.

So what is the next major trend?
Who will dominate the space?
What new products will emerge?
These are just a few of the questions we hope to get answered at our Keynote address with our Roundtable Discussion with executives from Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T.

Wayne Ward, Sprint

Wayne Ward is vice president of emerging solutions for Sprint Nextel. Ward was named to lead the company’s newly formed Emerging Solutions unit in October 2009, with responsibility for developing M2M (machine-to-machine) and mobile computing solutions.

Maurice Thompson, Verizon Wireless

Maurice is responsible for identifying and enabling device solutions to access the Verizon Wireless network by using the new Open Development device specifications and testing processes.
